Lucifer waited it out, scowling down at Dean and then rolling his eyes impatiently. It always sort of annoyed him how fragile humans could be, and so it really was a mercy when he came forward and placed his hand across the back of Dean's neck, letting a whisper of his grace slip in to heal away the bruises and cuts and broken bones, the ligature around his throat, the internal bleeding.

He kept his grip, though, as tight as a rock, bending in closer to hiss in his ear.

"You know, Dean, all it would really take to shake me out of here would be for Castiel to cast me out. He knows I'm here, all he needs to do is rescind his invitation. The mission is much more important than your pride, your chastity. Now when I say heel, you heel. Do you understand?"
