[Those fingers in his hair were perfect. A constant source of attention offered to him like he's being petted, and Ray likes attention as much as a lap cat. He likes a lot of attention. If Fraser wants to play with his hair, he won't oppose, and much like everything the Mountie put his mind to, he tangled with it skilfully, those kneading fingers massaging Ray's scalp better than any head massage he could pay for. Despite the abuse, his hair barely seemed to be affected by it, doing as it wanted even with the constant movement through it, there was just no controlling it beyond a heavy dose of gel or wax to keep it at bay.
