That's the idea, yes. The loser gets more sober. Well I mean--you're already much more sober than I am, which I suppose is some form of cheating, but since we're not playing toward the ultimate goal of being the first one to flop unconscious into a snowdrift I think we're probably fine.

The idea is to trick the other person into revealing things about themselves that they would never admit. You can take a hit yourself in order to trap your opponent into an admission, but it's generally frowned upon.
